Education- a right or a privilege?
In my opinion, I believe everyone is entitled to an education and therefore education should in fact be a right. However, in the world today, many persons do not have access to an education while others do and it would therefore seem to me that education is becoming a situation in which the more privileged persons in society have access to.

This is true. though in Jamaica, the slogan is true that says "If there is a will, there is a way".
My concern is for those persuing tertiary education and cannot afford the fee.
I was checking out a teller job at NCB for a youngster that had seven CXC subjects, only to be told that he would have to possess a first degree.
A privilege earned....gone are the days when students appreciate and make full use of the education system. So I think it should only be provided for those who will really appreciate it and use it...
I do agree with you. I believe it is a right but based on present situations some persons have to be fighting for what is rightfully theirs more so that others.
